Designation of Origin Toro
Simply by opening a bottle of Cyan Prestigio, it is possible to understand why these Toro wines have achieved such an international prestige and are currently the favourite ones of wine lovers.
This is a Toro red wine variety made from grapes grown in 60-year-old vineyards. It keeps a careful balance between the grape and the wood, which is achieved after an 18-month maturation in lightly toasted French and American oak barrels and at least 22 months of maturation in the bottle, ensuring elegance in such a special wine.
The wine
Matured for 18 months in French and American oak barrels, this wine has a deep dark cardinal colour and purplish notes, as well as aromas of ripe black fruit with balsamic hints of aromatic plants among spices, pipe tobacco, dark chocolate and mineral notes. A dense mouthfeel full of personality floods the palate, providing excellent acidity and a long aftertaste.
Pairing
Cyan Prestigio is magnificent for enjoying a pairing with cheese and cured meats. A wine that goes well with barbecues, meat stews, lamb, oxtail and Iberian cured meats.
