FRESH AND ELEGANT

From the La Buitrera vineyard in Pozaldez. This is a plot with gravelly soils that give this grape its characteristic ripeness. It is a straw-yellow wine with greenish reflections characteristic of the Verdejo variety. It takes on a unique personality thanks to the use of our own native yeasts.

VINEYARD

WINE TASTING

Visual

A straw yellow wine with greenish reflections.

Nose

Its aromas are intense and clean, with hints of fennel and thyme perfectly blended with tropical fruits such as pineapple and citrus fruits such as grapefruit, making it a very complex and dazzling wine.

Palate

A wine with medium-high structure, very smooth and round due to its ageing on its lees.

PAIRING

Oinoz Verdejo is a wine that is ideal as an aperitif and pairs well with small game bird stews, fish, seafood and even smoked dishes, as well as pasta, rice and salad dishes.

Bodega Oinoz

OINOZ is a modern family of wines that originates in the foothills of the Sierra de Cantabria, in San Vicente de la Sonsierra and Labastida, two of the most renowned wine-producing municipalities in the Rioja DOCa. OINOZ comes from OINOS, which means wine in Greek.

One of its wines, OINOZ Crianza, won the Gold Medal in Brussels in its first vintage; the Gold Medal at the Berliner Wine Trophy in its second vintage, and the Gold Medal at Mundus Vino in its third. Three consecutive successful vintages, an unstoppable run. The family also produces OINOZ Verdejo, a single-varietal wine from its own vineyards in the DO Rueda.
