A DELICATE HARMONY
Until its 25th anniversary, Matarromera was a winery dedicated heart and soul to producing red wines with total personality. It took all these years for Matarromera to see the birth of a single-varietal Verdejo from its plots located in the Rueda Designation of Origin. The result is this white wine from Castilla y León, belonging to the Rueda DO.
It has magnificent ageing potential, as it is aged in French oak barrels, adjusted and measured to bring out the best expression of the vineyards.
Matarromera Verdejo Fermentado en Barrica is made with grapes from a specific area of our Las Piedras vineyard in Valdestillas, where the maturity and age of the vineyard already allow for perfect, consistent production in poor, sandy soils in the vicinity of the Pinares region. The proximity of these pine forests and the sandy soil guarantee the freshness of a grape that is exclusive to this Matarromera.
