VINEYARD
The vineyards of La Casa, Villanueva and La Cabaña, from which Melior de Matarromera Tempranillo is produced, are located in the heart of Ribera del Duero, near the Monastery of Santa María de Valbuena.
This area boasts a rich winemaking heritage, marked by the reintroduction of viticulture by Cistercian monks in the Middle Ages, contributing to the historical prestige of the region.

In the glass, the wine shows a deep cardinal red colour with youthful purple hues, very clean and bright.

Nose
Aromas of ripe red fruits accompanied by spices such as liquorice, coffee and vanilla. Voluminous and intense, yet lively and fresh.
Palate
Well-structured and expressive, with sweet tannins and lingering fruity sensations complemented by notes of cocoa, coconut, vanilla and clean oak, maintaining excellent freshness.
PAIRING
Perfect to enjoy by the glass. Pair with a wide variety of appetisers and starters. We particularly recommend it with a grilled selection of meats or lightly aged red meats, which complement Melior de Matarromera beautifully.
