THE PERFECT COMPANION

From the Las Marcas vineyard in Villalba de Adaja, Valladolid, this sparkling wine has a big personality. Located near the town of Matapozuelos, it has been carefully crafted using the traditional champenoise method by Bodega Emina Rueda. Its elegant, fine bubbles leave a very fresh and pleasant sensation.

The best Verdejo grapes from our own Emina vineyards, located on poor soil at the entrance to the Adaja Valley, are the perfect raw material for creating this sparkling wine, which, after production, spends at least 12 months in the bottle to achieve perfect quality.

WINE TASTING

Visual

Straw yellow in colour with lime green highlights and fine bubbles that form a continuous, dynamic rosary. Once on the surface, a persistent crown forms around the rim of the glass.

Nose

The aromas of this wine are reminiscent of tropical fruits, citrus fruits and yeast, with lactic tones accompanied by the aromas of fresh pastries.

Palate

This is a very fresh sparkling wine on the palate, with a pleasant mouthfeel, balanced acidity and no sugar content, but with extraordinary balance and a powerful finish.

PAIRING

To pair this Emina Brut Nature sparkling wine, we are going to go for a dessert. As it is a dry sparkling wine, it is important to choose a dessert that is sweet enough to contrast with the wine's acidity.

A good option would be a fruit dessert, such as a strawberry tart or fruit salad. The fruit provides the sweet flavours that the wine needs, and the wine's acidity helps to cleanse the palate.

Another option would be a chocolate dessert, such as a chocolate mousse or chocolate coulant. Chocolate is an intense flavour that can stand up to the wine's acidity.

Bodega Emina

EMINA is much more than two wineries in two key designations of origin in our country, Ribera del Duero and Rueda. It owes its name to the “hemina”, the daily ration of wine that a Cistercian monk was allowed to drink.

Carlos Moro conceived the soul of Emina in the late 1990s as two projects for producing quality wines committed to sustainability and the environment. Emina Ribera is the first comprehensive winery project in the world and the first Spanish company to calculate the carbon footprint of one of its wines.
