This is a white wine made from the Verdejo grape variety from the Las Marcas vineyard, fermented and aged in new French oak barrels. It is carefully crafted from selected grapes under the strict supervision of Carlos Moro.

INTENSITY AND FRANKNESS IN THE BARREL
This is a very elegant wine that ferments for 6 months in new fine-grained barrels with stirring of the lees to achieve a very fresh, young, deep and long wine that improves greatly with age. After fermentation, it remains for a further 6 months in the same barrel on its fine fermentation lees to achieve a smooth, elegant and unforgettable wine.
VINEYARD
CM Verdejo Fermentado en Barrica is a Burgundy vineyard located in Villaba de Adaja (Valladolid) with 5,000 vines per hectare, a characteristic that makes its grapes excellent for producing wines for ageing. Only natural products and native yeasts are used in its cultivation, respecting the aromas of the variety as much as possible. The plot has poor, sandy soils that are ideal for producing exceptional wines.

Nose
The nose is intense, frank and elegant. Multiple nuances with aromas of stone fruit, tropical hints of pineapple, herbaceous aniseed and white flowers, in perfect balance with butter, vanilla, toffee and cedar wood.
Palate
A very elegant and velvety wine, with excellent citrus sensations, subtle tropical notes, light smokiness and elegant balsamic notes. Long, fresh, lively and very balanced finish.
PAIRING
This barrel-fermented Verdejo from CM's Finca Wine Collection is a very versatile wine, ideal for pairing with fish or seafood. It also pairs well with mild meats such as chicken in different forms or with different sauces or accompaniments. Its time in the barrel gives it character and personality to pair with the most exotic dishes and recipes.
