Cyan Pago de la Calera comes from the namesake vineyard, located on calcareous soils. The vineyards, over 60 years old and bush-trained, impart longevity and character to this wine, with hand-harvested grapes carefully selected for their small size and exceptional quality.
The unique arid soils of Pago de la Calera, at the western edge of D.O. Toro, result in a limited production of the region’s flagship variety, used to craft this distinguished wine.

Nose
Direct and highly concentrated, very complex, with varietal aromas of ripe black fruit such as blackberry and mulberry, alongside balsamic notes of aromatic herbs like lavender and soft eucalyptus. Barrel ageing contributes hints of new leather, blond tobacco, and gentle cocoa.
Palate
Sweet, polished, and silky tannins perfectly complement the savoury sensations on the finish. Flavours of dark berries such as myrtle and blueberry, along with tobacco, leather, licorice, and subtle roasted notes. Long, elegant, and persistent finish.
