This is a red wine made from Tinta de Toro grapes sourced from 60-year-old vineyards. It achieves a perfect balance between fruit and oak through a measured 18-month ageing in lightly toasted French and American oak barrels, followed by at least 22 months of bottle ageing, ensuring the elegance of this very special wine.
At our La Calera vineyard, with sandy soils and calcareous outcrops located at the western edge of D.O. Toro, old vineyards with limited yields and small berries are cultivated to produce this outstanding wine.
Its concentration and character reflect the challenging conditions of the soil, ideal for austere vineyards in an almost arid climate.

The name Bodega Cyan was not chosen at random. On the one hand, it represents the blue reflections characteristic of wine, but it also tells the curious story of a small bird called Cyanopica, measuring just over 30 cm, with intense blue wings and a long tail, which lives in the Toro area and in Asia.
