SANCLODIO - THE EXPRESSION OF THE AVIA VALLEY
Sanclodio is a wine made from free-run juice obtained from grapes grown in our vineyards in Gomariz, Leiro. We use the native varieties of Ribeiro: treixadura leads the blend, complemented by godello, albariño and loureira in varying proportions, each contributing its own nuances. A young wine with a high ageing potential in bottle.

A WINE OF LANDSCAPE AND TERRITORY
Sanclodio is a wine that expresses the distinctive character of the Avia Valley. Its life begins in the vineyard, on traditional terraces, in our vineyards located in Leiro (Ourense), with a marked granitic character and a climate influenced by both Atlantic and Mediterranean conditions. These factors favour healthy vine growth and optimal grape ripening. Harvesting is carried out by hand and the wine is made in stainless steel tanks, where it ages on fine lees with regular stirring.
VINEYARD
The unique identity and personality of Bodega Sanclodio wines come from sábrego, the characteristic decomposed granite soil of the Ribeiro vineyards. A very distinctive feature of the area, present in the cultivation of these lands since the first millennium.

Palate
A fresh, flavoursome wine with broad fruity and floral nuances already perceived on the nose. Complex, with a long finish and excellent balance between the creaminess of godello and albariño, and the freshness and vitality of treixadura.
PAIRING
As an outstanding representative of Galicia, Sanclodio pairs beautifully with scallops, octopus and all kinds of seafood. It is also ideal with rice dishes, fish and white meats.
